Research on National Board Certification

In numerous studies National Board Certified Teachers have been shown to positively impact student achievement, and those impacts are even greater for low-income students. The process of certifying has also been shown to aid in teacher retention, develop teacher leaders, and build communities of learners pursuing excellence in their teaching practice.
